Intermediate Level students focus on broadening their experience and
the refining of technique, both in graphite and in colored pencil,
through the use of exercises and independent projects. Advanced
Level students have the chance to try a variety of techniques such
as conventional light-to-dark colored pencil layering, blending with
a solvent, graphite/colored pencil layering, sepiatone or
monochromatic drawing, watercolor wash with colored pencil,
monochromatic underpainting, dark-to-light layering and others,
selecting those which suit what they wish to accomplish with their
own individual projects. These classes also give the students an
opportunity to experiment with a variety of papers and generally
become more familiar with the possibilities of the medium.
Class fee is $136
plus any materials.

Wednesday, 10 – 12:30. FIRST CLASS: SEPT. 17 Last
class: Nov. 5; make-up class: Nov. 19.
Thursday, 10 – 12:30. FIRST CLASS: SEPT. 18
Last class: Nov. 6; make-up class: Nov. 20.
Thursday, 6:30 – 9. FIRST CLASS: SEPT. 11
Last class: Oct. 30; make-up class: Nov. 20.

Sending this form alone DOES NOT obligate you or me in any way, but
simply lets me know approximately how many students to expect.
Payment of the deposit or full class fee does reserve your
spot in class. However, once the deposit or full payment is made,
this money is NOT REFUNDABLE. If you pay this money to hold
your spot in class and discover that you will not be able to attend
classes this session, I will issue you a credit slip redeemable on
any of my future class sessions, but I cannot refund your payment,
EXCEPT in the event that I would need to cancel an eight-week
session for some reason or if I am unable to give you either your
first or second choice for class times/days. If you have any
questions or concerns about this policy, I would be happy to discuss
them with you. If you choose not to make a deposit at this time and
send just the registration form below, I will contact you if it
appears you may be closed out of your chosen class to see if you
wish to make payment at that time in order to reserve your space.
(Note: For Fall Session, each student is allowed ONE free make-up
class for any reason; additional make-ups will be given for illness
or emergency only.)
